Sight Matters is proud to organise the annual Coast 2 Coast Walk, now renamed the Ivan Soulsbury Coast 2 Coast Walk in honour of a dedicated supporter and friend. The 2025 event will take place on Sunday, 7th September, taking walkers from the east coast to the west coast of the Isle of Man.

The full walk, covering approximately 12 miles over relatively flat and gentle terrain, begins at the National Sports Centre (NSC) in Douglas and finishes in Peel. For those who prefer a shorter challenge (approximately three miles), there will be an alternative start point at St John’s.

Who Can Take Part?

The walk is open to people of all ages and abilities, including children (accompanied by an adult) and well-behaved dogs. Water bowls will be available for your four-legged companions. Inclusivity is at the heart of the walk, ensuring that people of all abilities can take part in this non-competitive, inclusive event at their own pace.

• Distance: 12 miles (with a 3-mile option from St John’s)
• Start Time: 1:30 PM (Check-in opens at 12:45 PM)
• Start Location: NSC, Douglas
• Finish Location: House of Manannan
