The concept of Manninsight was the brainchild of our Chairman Charles Fargher and former CEO Ian Cooil in 2019. Hit initially by Covid, Manninsight was founded by Karen Callin as an independent fundraising arm of Sight Matters. Working in the wider community to organise a limited number of bespoke fundraising events each year, whilst also promoting awareness of Sight Matters.
Manninsight raises funds by hosting a range of exciting and spectacular events, such as a Mardi Gras Party. It is also venturing into the Isle of Man sporting arena by sponsoring an annual golf competition.
The Manninsight committee of approximately nine members meets regularly to plan all aspects of their events.
