ManninSight, a fundraising arm of Sight Matters, is thrilled to announce An Evening with Dr Janet Gray MBE, an inspiring event celebrating resilience, achievement, and the power of sport.

Dr Janet Gray is a four-time World Disabled Water Ski Champion and a trailblazer in disability sport. Losing her sight at 21 due to a rare form of glaucoma did not stop her from achieving greatness—she went on to set records across three water-skiing disciplines and was named Northern Ireland Sports Personality of the Year. Even after a near-fatal training accident in 2004 left her unable to walk, she defied the odds, making a triumphant return to competition and reclaiming her world titles.

Today, Janet is the President of Disability Sports NI and an Ambassador for Concern Worldwide, continuing to advocate for inclusivity in sport. Her biography, Blind Ambition, tells the incredible story of her journey.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as Janet shares her experiences, challenges, and triumphs—offering a powerful message about perseverance and overcoming adversity.

More details coming soon—stay tuned!
