At Sight Matters, we understand the deep bond between people and their pets. That’s why we’ve created Paws 4 Thought, a special place where you can honour the pets who have touched your life. Nestled within the Freedom Field at Corrin Court, Onchan, this dedicated space offers a heartfelt way to celebrate your beloved animals.
The Freedom Field is a secure and welcoming environment designed to support blind and visually impaired individuals, including those with assistance dogs. It also provides a safe and serene space for individuals with hidden disabilities and other life challenges to enjoy. It’s a place where memories can be cherished, and the companionship of our furry friends can be honoured in a meaningful way.
Participating in Paws 4 Thought is simple. You can commemorate your beloved pet with a personalised tag. Each tag can be customised with your pet’s name and a short, heartfelt message. Once completed, the tag will be proudly displayed on our dedicated Paws 4 Thought wall, a lasting tribute to your cherished companion.
Celebrating the love and joy that pets bring into our lives is at the heart of Paws 4 Thought. Whether you want to honour a beloved companion or simply support a worthy cause, this initiative offers a beautiful opportunity to do both. The funds raised go directly to Sight Matters, helping to support blind and visually impaired individuals on the Isle of Man.
Each tag is available for £20, with all proceeds staying on the Isle of Man to support the essential services provided by Sight Matters.
Whether you’re purchasing a tag for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a loved one, Paws 4 Thought is a touching way to celebrate the pets who have brought so much joy into our lives. You can visit the Paws 4 Thought area during designated times or by arrangement to see the display and experience the love shared by all participants. It’s a wonderful way to reflect, remember, and connect with others who share the same appreciation 4 the companionship of animals.
