An exciting volunteer opportunity has become available at Sight Matters.
We are seeking several volunteers to help run our Younger Members' Group. The Younger Members Group has been created to ensure that children living on the Isle of Man experiencing sight loss are able to enjoy a wide range of fun and education activities.
Role:
To assist the Inclusion Support Officer with transporting our young members and engaging in planned activities with them.
Supporting both children up to the age of 18 years, and parents who attend activities, build good working relationships with all attending.
Activities can be vast and varied, anything from table top craft work to sports, educational and general fun. These are held both at Sight Matters or external venues.
We aim to enhance the lives of all our members and support them to gain new experiences, make new friends and work towards their goals in a safe and supported environment.
