Join Sight Matters this August for our Stride for Sight challenge – a month of movement, motivation and making a difference.
Whether it’s five miles, five minutes, or five mindful moments, we’re inviting you to take on a daily activity that suits your ability and schedule – all while raising vital funds to support blind and visually impaired people across the Isle of Man.
It’s flexible, inclusive, and all about consistency. You choose your daily commitment – something centred around the number 5 – and stick with it throughout August.
Here are just a few ideas:
Walk 5 miles
Run 5 kilometres
Swim or cycle for 5 minutes
Spend 5 minutes stretching, meditating or dancing
Do 5 laps of your garden or 5 sit-to-stands from a chair
No matter your age or fitness level, there’s a way to take part. You can go solo, team up with friends or family, or even take it on as a workplace challenge.
Boost your physical and mental wellbeing
Create healthy new habits
