Accessibility is a crucial part of Sight Matters' mission. To us, accessibility means equality of access; in other words, that anyone, no matter what accessibility issues they may have, is able to enjoy the same benefits and services as others. 

Today, good accessibility practice must incorporate digital accessibility. In that vein, we have created a 3D map of Sight Matters' head quarters, Corrin Court. The idea behind the map is to enable anyone to "visit" Corrin Court, whenever they like. 

Although Corrin Court and the Freedom Field have both been designed with accessibility in mind, some people may still not be able to access the building due to mobility issues or problems accessing transport. By creating the 3D map, we are able, for the first time, to accomodate these people. 

The 3D map will also be beneficial for those with other access barriers such as mental health issues and neurodivergence who are planning to visit Corrin Court. It will also prove beneficial for family members and others providing support who would benefit from seeing Corrin Court before, or as an alternative, to visiting in person.

Embedded throughout the map are a series of useful documents, resources and media. We willl continue to add to these as more documents become available, with the aim of making the 3D map as useful and engaging as possible.
