Guess what? It's that time of year again – the much-awaited annual 'Sight Matters Coast 2 Coast Walk' is back, and boy, are we excited! And guess what else? Conister Bank has returned as the event sponsor for the third year running! Get ready to mark your calendars for Sunday, September 8th, because it's going to be an adventure you won't want to miss!

So, what's the scoop? Well, picture this: a picturesque 12-mile stroll from Douglas to Peel, winding through the stunning Manx countryside. But here's the best part – it's not a race! It's all about fun, family, and furry, four-legged friends. Yep, you heard that right – we're rolling out the welcome mat for walkers of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities and even our adorable doggy pals!

The journey kicks off with a lap around the NSC track, then it's westward ho along the Heritage Trail until we reach our destination, Peel. And here's the cherry on top – by lacing up your walking shoes and joining us, you'll be making a direct impact on Sight Matters' mission to support the Isle of Man's blind and visually impaired community. Talk about walking the walk for a great cause!

Now, let's talk logistics. The full-distance walk sets off at 1:30 pm, but be sure to check in at 1:00 pm at the NSC's outdoor pitches’ reception. If you're opting for a shorter route, you can start at St John’s instead. Check-in for the three-mile route opens at 2:45 pm, with walkers hitting the road at 3:30 pm.
